Buo na po yung bike ko at nag ride ako sa likod bahay land. Practice ng track stand pivoting, kapagod after a few minutes lang. Super out of shape na ako at I feel I suck. Dahil matagal na din di ko nagagamit yung ibang bike handling skills ko na master ko dati nuong kabataan ko. Nag attempt ako ng lurch, naka isang hop lang. More on balancing ang kailangan ko sa rear wheel para maging efficient yung mga moves. So, nu po ba dapat kong ensayuhin na BASICS? Saka feel ko masyadong malapad yung Echo bars ko, try ko pa a few weeksmuna bago putulan.

Wag mong puputulan...Maganda ang wide bars para sa balance...kailangna mong ipractice for now ay trackstnad, hopping, rear wheel hop, mga pivot pivot..zaptap,rolling drop sa bangketa, trackstand at hopping at rear wheel hop ulit

Paano p ba mag take off par mag rear wheel hop? Isang pedal para mag wheelie then hold the position then hop? Anung angle po ba optimum pag naka taas na yung front wheel?

Pivot puro pakaliwa madalit pero pakanan, di ko magawa. Right foot forward ako, mag switch stance po ba ako kung magpipivot pa kanan? Zaptap, au po yon?

Drop from hieghts wala pong probelema, kahit di ko pa nagagawa for a long time. Yung technique na yon di ko pa nalilimutan.

Rear wheel hop - Yung iba start from endo then pullbars para umangat ang harap. Yung iba diretso hatak sa bars. Yung iba may kasamang pedal stroke. Pag angat sa balance point mo hit the break para hindi ka mag overshoot. Walang tamang angulo pre. More of weight adjustment. Pag mababa ang front tire, straight ang kamay mo tapos halos nakaupo ka sa rear tire para mamaintain ang balance. Pag mataas masyado ang front tire, bent ang elbow para mabalanse mo tapos parang nakatayo ka sa bike. Use hopping to gain balance. Pero pwede rin ang naka stall ka lang.

Di kailangan mag change stance. Sanayin mo ang kanan at kaliwa mo. THough hindi rin ako sanay sa mag kabilang side hehehe.

Zaptap - ito galing sa trials-online

To ride up an object, you'll need to do two steps. First, you will slowly roll towards the object, usually with your bad foot forward (to allow for a half pedal stroke). When you get close to the object (the exact distance will vary depending on the height) you will do your pedal stroke, lean back a bit and get the front wheel high enough to get on top. This is the easy part. The second step is a bit more difficult, and the timing becomes more critical the higher you need to go. What you need to do is quickly shift your weight far forward on the bike, which will unweight the rear wheel. At the same time, your want to pull in your legs a bit, and (similar to a bunnyhop) push the arms and roll the wrists to help rotate the rear end up. The idea here is to do these motions fast enough that you do not catch your bashguard on the object. Some people find that quickly locking the front brake, just for a second, allows them to do a small endo to help lift the rear wheel.

Master those moves. Then a bulb will tell you that you wanted to learn Tap, Gap, Sidehop, Pedal up, Wheel swap, lurch, one pedal punch, Hook up and then lines

Track stand ko getting better,pero gawing kaliwa lang. Right side yung wheel turned medyo mahina. Rocking ko, medyo mahina parin but it's coming along. Nag try din ako ng rear wheel hop na pedal to pop up , kailangan ko pa ng balance dahil nakaka isa/dalawan tap pa lang.

I think once na lumakas na ulit yung core muscles ko mas makaka balance ako ng matagal. Tagal na kasing di ako nakakpag ganitong movements. Ang hina nung wrist ko I found out at arms ko na rin. Well lahat ng iyon I lalakas din, kaya tuloy ang ensayo.

Sabi ko kay mrs, pag medyo ok na ako saka na sya manuod ng trails practice ko. Baka kasi pag nakita nya akong parang tanga, hiwalayan nya ko Razz

Sir, dagdag tip po sa pivoting... use your pwet! hehehe...

actually waist yung gagamitin hindi pwet... sa pivoting kasi ng rear wheel, move your waist sa direction na pupuntahan then swing with your feet with the knees bent ng konti, imbis na puro paa lang yung gamitin nyo pang swing ng bike. pivoting sa front wheel naman, use your shoulders. kung gusto niyong mag pivot ng front pakanan... right shoulder lower than the left bago i lift yung front wheel. tapos vice versa pag left front wheel pivot naman. pag mas mababa yung isang side ng shoulder kasi eh yung weight pupunta dun sa mas mababang side so mas madaling mag pivot.

Iba naman pag mag 180 pivot sa front tire... pag pakanan ang ikot... habang naka trackstand, turn the bars pakaliwa then lower yourself papunta sa bike and bend your knees and shoulders. eto eh yung parang spring effect... pag nasa position na, quickly turn the bars to the right then stand up... mag lilift yung front wheel... turn with your head and shoulders and straighten your knees... look sa iikutan/lalandingan... pag baba ng front wheel... absorb the impact then smile Smile

Bike handling is all about weight transfer, sir. try to experiment on shifting weight habang nagppraktis kayo. sa trackstand better kung kaya niyo yung apat na combinations plus kung nakataas yung front at yung nakataas yung rear para kahit anong sitwasyon hindi kayo tatapak sa lupa Smile

Ano yung sikreto?

Ok, nasa likod bahay na naman ako kanina. Mas stable na yung take off ko for rear wheel hops. Na gegets ko na yung balance pero not completely there yet, very encouraging. Naka kuha na naman ako ng isa panng obstacle para sa likod after work. Pero di muna gamit yon at hasa pa yung basics. Boy, hina talaga nung fore arms ko at grip, tanda na kasi.

Kahapon I twisted the bars forward, and it feels better. Mas di nakakpagod pag nagbabalance at pag naka taas yung front wheel. LAst night din re-dish ko yung rear wheel, super off sya. Nung isang araw yung front wheel yung ni dish ko, ngayon aligned na sya sa gitna ng fork.

Today practice pa rin ako ng pivots at track stand, at nag iimprove naman. Practicing my raising the front wheel and holding it in balance pagkatapos. Pagminsan sinsamahan ko ng hop. Pero ngayon inuuna ko yung stable na take off na ma raise yung front wheel then balance. Getting better, till I get tired.

Practice ko rin yung having my weak leg forward , then quick pedal forward to my forward leg na maitaas yung front wheel. Pinaparactice ko lang yung timing. Tapos sinamahan ko ng bunny hop sa huli nung sequence. Iba handling ng trials bike specially Stock. Di ko ma bunny hop ng regular tulad ng sa bmx or mtb. Kailangan my half pedal, di kaya dahil mahaba yung stem, or I am just so weak.

So far sa likod, may maliit na palate at isang mas malaking flatform of a display of some sort na nakuha ko sa isang shopping center. Di ko muna ginagamit at nakasandal lang sa pader muna. Pinapraktis ko muna yung mga balancing skills, rocking, pivots ,track stands at raising the front wheel and hopping.

Curious din ako how I look on video para malaman ko kung ano ang mali at dapat kong gawin. I used to do video analysis nung nag speedskating ako long time ago. I'll see if I can take some.
