Post home brew, cheapskate or your own solutions to common parts problems here.

Here's an example:

I recently had my Hayes disk pad rebonded at EDSA since I couldn't get replacement pads plus i'm totally cheap. As recent as kanina.

Result:

1. Problem: they made it too thick. Quick solution: I had to sand them a bit using 120 grit sand paper. I made sure that I was sanding with water so I won't inhale the dust. There might be asbestos hahaha.

2. Paksyet, they are very very much grabbier than the old pads I had (metal), though I think now I have metal+resin. I think this is how a Hope Mono Trials feel haha

3. Downside: My rotors will now have uneven wear like my cheap rebonded diskbrake pads in my car, it will eat up my disks. It sucks? Yeah right, at P100? I have an extra disk hehe.

Spoke nipples keep on loosening?? Hate frequent wheel truing?!

Patakan mo ng konting Mighty Bond yung dulo... Bond the spoke nipple to the spoke to prevent unwanted movements.

NOTE: it will only reduce loosening of spoke nipples

Tzard, may mga nabibiling Cotter Pins sa mga hardware ata. I know how to lock 'em.
